Education

Educational History:

I graduated from  ULM professor inks book deal | ULM University of Louisiana at Monroe

Degrees and Certifications:

  • I have a Masters of Arts in Teaching for Elementary Grades 1-5 with a Mild/Moderate Certification. (2016)
  • I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Construction with a minor in Business Administration. (2003)

Professional Development:

I was an ELA content leader in 2017-2018 and attended the Teacher Leader Summit in New Orleans in 2018. 

Current Position:

  • I started teaching at Robinson Elementary in August of 2019.
  • This is my second year with Ouachita Parish school district.
  • I currently teach second grade Reading.

Previous Position:

I started teaching English and Social Studies in 2014 at Jack Hayes Elementary as a long-term substitute teacher. I then taught fifth grade Math and Science at Oak Hill Elementary in Morehouse Parish as the teacher of record. Upon the closure of our school, I relocated to Henry V. Adams where I taught third grade ELA and Social Studies for three years.
